Challenging, but it changed how I think about code

Going from high-level languages down to logic gates, assembly and C was a big shift. The LC-3 section was the steepest learning curve for me, and pointers in C took a while to click. Workload was heavier than I expected, around 14 hours a week. Starting projects early and stepping through code in the simulator made the biggest difference. Would take again: yes. Understanding what actually happens under the hood made me a better programmer.
