Linear algebra rewards consistency more than cramming. The concepts build on each other, so falling behind on row reduction made eigenvalues much harder later. I can compute things, but I don't "see" what a transformation does. Did anyone find a way to visualize them that helped? Right now I'm just memorizing which matrix rotates and which one shears.
